Tradistae is a Catholic Worker organization created by and for the God-fearing working-class. We are committed to proclaiming and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the works of mercy, intentional community, liturgical tradition, and the struggle for social justice.

We believe in the politics of virtue and the common good, and in pursuing the True, the Good, and the Beautiful in our governments, economies, and cultures. Above all, we believe in Catholic Social Teaching, as taught by the Social Encyclicals. Therefore, we reject both the right and left of modern politics and draw from the traditions of Thomism, integralism, distributism, and liberation theology.

Our website exists to host resources on Catholic Social Teaching. Some of these are teaching tools, such as our easy essays and the Tradistae Podcast. We have other resources to inspire you in prayer and praxis, especially the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. We welcome all people of good will to join us in creating a better world through prayer, penance, and these works of mercy. Our friends at Catholic Social Action work with us to help organize these actions.
